Like so many of us, Joy and her family came to Mercer Island for the excellent public schools, walkable neighborhoods, proximity to cities like Seattle and Bellevue, the mountains and the water.
Joy is running to represent all Islanders and will fight to maintain our quality of life. Through her successful experience as a government affairs professional and her dedicated Mercer Island community services, she has demonstrated that she has what it takes. Joy currently chairs the Mercer Island Arts Council. Additionally, she has served on the Committee for Mercer Island Public Schools (CMIPS), the Mercer Island Preschool Association, the West Mercer Elementary School PTSA Boards and coaches soccer for the Mercer Island Football Club, where she also sits on the Board.
Joy lives with her husband Dominick (who works at the Stroum Jewish Community Center) and their kids on the north end of Mercer Island.
